dear precious children of God,

it is not long until Spiritual Encounter. as i've been praying and fasting for this event, i believe the Holy Spirit has stirred this particular verse in my heart.

"My sacrifies, O God, is a broken spirit;
a broken and contrite heart
you, God, will not despise."
Psalm 51:17 TNIV

to truely surrender everything to our Lord God Almighty, to come before Him as a broken spirit. to receive His strength is not only until you sense your weakness. to genuinely stand before the MAJESTY, the King of kings with a humble and repentant heart.

sisters i urge you to set aside time if you have not yet done so, to simply come before God with a heart of repentance. for if you cherished sin in your heart, the Lord will not listen to you.

this Spiritual Encounter is not to be taken lightly, God will sweep through ALL the hearts and bring forth GREAT TRANSFORMATION and you do not want to miss this move of God!

have a desire for change. hunger for the Word of God.

God can only intervene in the details of YOUR lives if you just give EVERY PART of your life to Him. do not hold back, but allow the spiritual being within you to rise up. there is a time for everything and a season for every activity. the time for a change in your life is here now.

it is not too late to prepare your heart. ASK and you will receive. INVITE the Holy Spirit to prepare your heart for a BREAKTROUGH this weekend, FAST & PRAY to truely subdue the flesh and be led by the Holy Spirit.

i believe this is the time for you to receive a divine touch from God, to establish a divine connection from a face to face encounter with THE LOVER OF YOUR SOUL, and to receive a divine direction from YOUR SAVIOUR.

turn to Him with all your heart, rend your heart before Him and return to the Lord your God. a simple prayer from the heart is a step closer to transformation:

O Lord i chose to surrender my all to You,

i release my studies, my relationship, my pains and hurts,

my everything to You, Lord.

beginning of breakthrough

Dear beautiful sisters,

What a beautiful sunday we had, coming together to worship our Heavenly Father, who has great plans for our future, and training us to be Masters of breakthrough in all circumstances of our lives, so that we can rise up to our destiny and who God wants us to be!

Praise God for His words through the sermon that our dear jellymom has given to our church this morning, in which with the accompanying of the Holy Spirit! Hearts have been softened, spirits have been stirred, attitudes have been changed, circumstances have been turned upside down, and stronghold have been broken! Hallelujah!

Just want to share a little testimony of how God has already begun to change my heart, my attitude; and i believe that He will continue to teach me the way i should go.

There is a friend who has backslided for over 5 years. Even though she claims she knows the existence of God, she stopped going to church. Without having a relationship with God, her life has been in darkness: her way of seeing life, the way she lives life is simply worldly. There have been times where her actions and words which caused resentment, irritation, frustration... in my heart. There have been times when i just turned blind eyes, thinking that i would just wait and see, while keeping her in prayers every now and then. There, i felt to realise my incomplete faith, because faith without action is dead; and more importantly, i failed to love my neighbours as i love myself.

However, praise God that He has continued to teach me through YAF about faith, and this building up of faith through hearing and learning; led me to pray to God more specificly about this problem, and to ask for instructions on what actions i should take.

One important point that God spoke into my heart was that, if I, as a child of God, who is able to bring the presence of God, shining the light into her life; how can the people in the world, who are currently influencing her life, can ever bring her close to Him again. Then, the sense of urgency arose in my heart. Despite of the past hurts or resentment that i had, i repented, and i asked God to take away all that was in me, to replace His goodness and His love in me.

My first step to it was to invite her for dinner. It was a big step for me because I had constant fear that she might reject me, or i didn't know how i could do it. But by God's strength, I did and i felt this peace was in my heart that i haven't experienced before when i am around this friend of mine. After that, i was given more courage, more love to show my concern and care for her. Even though it was just a little thankyou that she said, but i know that something within our friendship has already changed!

Then today in the morning service, especially the time when we were called to come up to the front, i knew in my heart that God wanted to change my attitudes, instead of thinking badly of others, and sometimes complain~ rise up as masters of faith! Then to my amazement, pastor anne said the word 'attitude'. at the moment onwards, i know that God is in control of this situation, so i just gave thanks to God for listening to the concerns of my heart, for knowing what i need to be changed, for really instructing me, and teaching me the way i should go; for really counselling me and watching over me. He is amazing, and He is the same yesterday, today and forever! Hallelujah!

So, the outcome is this: i had dinner with this friend tonight (God has the best timing =) ), i prepared the meal with great joy, peace in my heart. At dinner, she asked me say grace, and so i did and i also prayed for her exam tomorrow. Even though we didn't have time for a deep, long talk, but i know that God is guiding me through this, and the Holy Spirit is softening both of our hearts, that i may be used by Him to continue to shine light into her life, bringing her back to the arms of our Heavenly Father~

Thanks for reading my long post~ but i just want to acknowledge what God has done for me. Through this testimony, i want to give Him all glory, all praises, all honour; for without Him, i am nothing. It is by His grace, i am who i am!

God bless you all with studies and everything else in life~ Pray that we will all rise up as Masters of Breakthrough, that we can run fast, and move forward in our walk with our Lord!

in preparation for spiritual encounter

Girls,

It sure has been a long time since i last wrote to you.... but after last night at women's net, i felt such an urgency to encourage each one of you to prepare your hearts for the upcoming spiritual encounter in July.

Last night, during women's net, there was such a weight of God's presence that came upon us during worship. As we were praying and singing to the Lord our own song, I suddenly felt like I was on fire and I was dripping wet, not from sweat but from the anointing of God. It just kept pouring and pouring and pouring... The more the Holy Spirit filled me, the more I yearned.. until I couldn't contain it but I started to weep. I don't know how long that was but the next time I opened my eyes, all the women around me were on their knees, worshipping, weeping and being refreshed in His presence... It was so beautiful and I never wanted it to end.

I am sure all the women have their own testimonies but I am just sharing mine because God gave me a foresight into what He is going to do at spiritual encounter. He is going to release new wine in our midst and He is going to pour His glory afresh.. He is going to go beyond what we can even imagine! However, not all will receive His anointing. Only those who have prepared their hearts as a broken and empty vessel can be filled. You have to make sure that there is room for God in your heart; and no, not just left over space but complete surrender and utter consumption. Unless your temple/your vessel is fit for God, He cannot make His throne there.

Prepare yourself for newness of life. Get rid of the old expectations, old limits, old wineskin. Declare and agree that you never want to be the same again. Discipline your flesh and purify your hearts by fasting. Then when it is time (which doesn't necessarily have to be at the encounter), allow the ANOINTING and POWER of GOD to replenish, reconstruct and renew you.

Break up your fallow ground, for it is time to seek the Lord.

Till He comes and rains righteousness on you and fills the whole earth with His glory.

SEIZE THE DAY!!!

Hi Girls! It's so great to read the recent posts and see how you are recognizing God's hand of deliverance upon your lives. Let us remember to be mindful of the REASON why God has put us here on this big round planet. Let us remember NOT to get bogged down with the details of life but cast our vision forwards to the eternal plans God has destined for us.

During the heavy study period, here's a few tips:

Start the day thanking God that you are created in His image & have His mind over every matter
Declare who God says you are out aloud until you feel faith rising within your spirit
Put worship music on whenever possible & listen to good sermons while commuting
NEVER STOP reaching out & looking for opportunities to help one another - in looking outwards, God will look upon you with favour & extend His grace [empowering presence]
Remember time is a gift. Steward it wisely, don't waste time on facebook & sleep & eat to get energy - not to indulge in the flesh!
Keep yourselves hydrated - physically & spiritually

Love you and am praying for you to be WITNESSES OF HIS MAJESTY wherever you go! The biggest and most impacting assessment of our lives is our daily routine before God.

How's everyone going?? Mandy has a presentation in 20 minutes!
And Jellybaby has some tests as well right?and Christy has like 10 tasks/assignment things...who else? xD well!

We declare favour and wisdom for you all in the name of Jesus so you can bring glory to God!
May God's wisdom and strength, concentration and problem-solving skills be upon you, and we claim success and JOY in all things!

Anyhows, i just want to give praise to God for something that happened last week~!
(Everytime i use the word "realised" --> it is Holy Spirit teaching me things ^__^)

Throughout a law degree, there is this work experience thing called "clerkship" where we apply to law firms to get a position. It is quite competitive as each firm only offer 2-5 positions ~
As for us third year students, there is only two firms in adelaide that will take in us, as most firms only take in final/penultimate year students.

Yesss so I applied for one of them because I liked the sound of that firm.
Some time later, I received an email invitation to a "group assessment" interview.

I really have to praise God for making a way for me to get there on time xD. The interview was at 2.30, and I usually finish work at 1.30. This gave me an hour to get home change and get to the law firm @_@
But praise God, my boss for some reason let me off at 1ish haha xD yaayayayay So awesome.

God always makes a way =D

Then my dad was available at home to drive me there..and then we couldn't find the place...finally, i just got out and realised it was in a building =.= Thanks be to God that my dad dropped me off pretty much in front of it even though we didn't know. That is God's hand of guidance!
i was like a minute late...but the other 4 people were still in the waiting area..phew! The lady came in a minute later and asked us to go in.

It was quite a tough interview as I don't know much about business..We had to discuss a business scenario.. ^_^

But yeah, it was a very interesting experience, even though I didn't get into the stage two interview. We get this "rejection email" ahaha.

At first, I was heaps disappointed because I declared and believed that everything would go well with God's favour. So I didn't understand why I didn't get through.

After YAF on friday, we learnt that we couldn't just command God to do things. That really spoke to me! hehe..I truly realised that NOTHING is in our control- and EVERYTHING is in God's control.

We are merely instruments for God to use, and if this is how far God will me on this path, then I thank God for this experience. I got to learn that I may have to learn more about business things, have to learn to be more assertive when giving ideas, learn how to express ideas clearly and how to be comfortable working on a project with strangers! haha lots of things to learn!

I've never really felt disappointment in this sense as in disappointed in myself.. so this was a new thing that I had to get over and realise that so long as I do my best, God will have planned the rest.

ALSO, I have to tell myself off for being disappointed with myself haha..because I realised that GOD created each and EVERY single life.

Being disappointed in myself, would be like disappointed with God's creation? and that is not right!
So yes, I learnt a lot last week and would've shared at yaf, but too long so decided to blooooogggggg it!

ok. Gotta go study now as its 4pm ahhh!! hehehe
Persevere and have JOY in everything you do because every minute you are living and breathing is a present from God.

I thank God that we are put together on this planet, at this time year generation era country, and that we get to share life together in Christ. It's so amazing that out of so many years that life has been on the planet, that we are all living at the same time ...if that makes sense

To all the hard studying girls, don't let the devils sneak in on you during this assignment & exam period, BUT remember to KEEP YOUR LORD JESUS CENTRE OF YOUR FOCUS. Make good use of your study time & make time for Jesus, remember to give your spirit a rest too.

Then the Lord reached out His hand and touched my mouth and said to me, "I have put My words in your mouth".
it is so wonderful our Jesus, our Lord, your Savior is the same today, yesterday & FOREVER. if He can encourage jeremiah to step out of his comfort zone and anoint him with BOLDNESS, COMPASSION & WORDS of WISDOM & STRENGTH to go to nations & kingdoms;

the SAME Lord can do it for you.

going through the entire chapter, you will see the reasons

WHY GOD HAS CHOSEN YOU.

the Almighty One, our Lord & our Savior declares in -
verse 8: ... for I am with YOU & will rescue YOU
verse 9: ... put His words in YOUR mouth
verse 10: ... today He appoints YOU over nations & kingdoms to uproot and tear down... to build and to plant

GO OUT THERE, make the effort, make the most of EVERY opportunity, live by faith for you and i are the chosen generation to make a difference.

Reaching out our hands to the nations

Hello to all my beautiful sisters,

what a wonderful night of worship and prayer we had at our April prayer meeting!!! The name of our Lord is highly exalted, lifted up in worship and praise, because He is indeed worthy!!! For all the sisters who couldn't be with us, we missed you and we had you girls in our hearts and in our prayers! We pray that we will grow in love and unity, and that each one of us will draw closer to God and to one another! Pray that the fresh revelations of the words of God will revive your hearts, stir up your spirit, that this Easter you will be transformed and experience the harvest of increase! Amen!

I just want to share with you something that i received tonight. As we were singing in worship, I ask the Lord to open up my eyes, eyes that see what God sees. Immediately, a picture of His people suffering in pain, in poverty, in all sorts of suffering crying out in desperation. The Lord reminded me that He is the God of ALL! He made these people in His image, these people are HIS CREATIONS WHOM HE LOVES! Even though they may be people from different nations, different cultures who may seem to be strangers to us, but they can be OUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS as we continue to bring these souls into the kingdom of God.

The next thing that came into my mind is: how can i reach out to these people who are so far away, or are strangers whom we do not know. The Lord reminded me the verse from<> 'Indeed, the LORD's hand is not too short to save, and His ear is not too deaf to hear.' His hands and arms are definitely not too short to save; even though we may have physical limitations to what we do (e.g. we may not be able to simply go in person to all these nations), but in the spiritual realm, THERE IS NO LIMIT! The Lord is indeed mighty to save, and we just need to REACH OUT OUR HANDS TO THE NATIONS, through our prayers and fast, as well as our HELPING HANDS! After that, i also had the question in my hand, how much impact can we bring? Then God told me that it is beyond our understanding how BIG the difference we can make by saving one soul, let alone the whole nation! It may be the person that you bring salvation to, he/she will be brining the Gospel to multitudes! God has divine connections linked up for us here on Earth and in heaven, that we, as people of God, can MAKE A DIFFERENCE and ADVANCE THE KINGDOM OF GOD!

So I pray that may we all be guided by the Holy Spirit in journey of life, that we will rise up as mighty armies of God, forcely advancing; being the LIGHT OF THE WORLD, that all shall be saved! May God make us usable for His plans, that we can be the channel of blessings, ministers of God who will bring the Gospel to all men!

darlings,
wowers! this blog is really kicking on strong! its been nearly a year since i started this blog... nice to know that God has used it as instrument to bless one another... but i shall talk abt in a later post...

for this post, i just want to share our the time i had in singapore with some brothers and sisters from our great family. like some would have heard by now, the conference wasn't as good as expected but there were a few sessions which were amazing that i will mention here.

FRIDAY MORNING was top class. worship was anointed! there was such a tangible presence of God. I could literally taste and see that the LORD is amazing and great! I didn't want it to end. anyways, Pastor Lawrence did the first message for the day which was titled PARADIGM SHIFT to G12 CELL CHURCH. He spoke about the difference between a church with cells and a cell church then the different cells in the g12 vision and ending on the nature of the cell church with community, corporation and cause. the second session that morning was done by Ps Caesar and this was titled "IF YOU CHANGE, EVERYTHING WILL CHANGE" with his passage coming from 1 Chronicles 4: 9 and 10 (otherwise known as the Jabez Prayer). This was really powerful and really changed my perspective on everything.

the other awesome session was on Saturday night when we had Delirious lead us in a time of worship. i have to say, they have somehow managed the fusion of having a rock concert and time of community worship really really well. even though the music and tunes were loud and different, the joy of being in the presence of the Lord was so great. time just flew by heyyyy..

spiritual encounter was another thing all together! after being slightly disappointed with the conference, i didn't know what to expect for the second half of our time with FCBC.... but i had no reason to doubt because God moved in such a powerful way. even from the beginning, during worship of the first night, God's presence was soooo strong. we barely sung any songs.... people were all weeping and singing unto the Lord new songs from their heart. it was soo beautiful! no one had any agendas and we lost all concept of time. all we wanted was to be in communion with Him. that could be said for the rest of the encounter, esp during worship and certain altar calls. even though some speakers were admittedly better than others, on the whole, i left well-fed. God really dealt with my heart and made me confront certain things that i pretended were closed. He healed me and gave me total liberty. at the beginning of the whole thing, the first lady gave us all a butterfly and she said that at the end of it, we will leave as different women. even though i look the same outside, my heart has changed and like a butterfly, the transformation is complete and i feel like im flying with new life and freedom.
lastly, the experience in singapore cannot be described without giving a specific shout out to the people i shared it with. stiggy, it was a shame that you weren't feeling well for much of our time in singapore but whatever time we did have as a group, it was fun.... patricia and anne, it was great seeing you after sending you off to indo; it was mindblowing hearing your testimonies and all the things that God did in your lives esp over breakfast and hot soya bean milk.... wen and rachel, thanks for sharing our beautiful little room with me; it was awesome talking to you girls till early hrs in the morning and keeping each other company throughout the days even though we had a really wet bathroom every night (hahahahaha.. *wink wink*).... henry and eddie, thanks for taking care of us girls in geyland, esp at night when it was dodgy; it was such a blessing to deepen my friendship with the two of you and getting to know your hearts. lastly, ac and di, what a difference you two brought to my time in singapore from the durian eating to trying on glasses to major D'n'Ms on bus rides with ac to scaring the beef out of me at the singapore flyer to loooong flights with law to playing with the cute doggies at aunty po's house; you two are little but big angels from God. ^____^ all of you, i loooooveeee you!!! i know that this is the beginning of many trips we shall have together as one BIIIIG FAMILY!

to everyone, while we were away, i had time to reflect on where we are at. even though we went to really anointed churches with huge teams to work with and had extensive resources, im so glad that im part of NLCC coz i know that we have even bigger and better things installed for us. not saying anything bad abt those churches but He really does have unique and specific dreams for us. i remember when i flying into one of the cities and i looked out of the window, i heard the voice of God speaking to me saying, "You can have this city and many more nations.. they are yours.... I have anointed NLCC to reach multitudes... If you would only claim and walk in the ways I have set out for you. There is no stopping MY MIGHTY ARMY"... Im so glad im going out to war with each one of you by my side. I know i can trust each one of you and we can cover each other's back.

As for me, I am bUUUUUUUUUUUUUSY! heheh I was about to start my tutorial reading + questions for tomorow, but thought I'd blog because constant updates on this page keeps it active and alive! so please blog often girls ;) even super short ones just saying whats up! hahah cos then we know what you are up to and prayer points if you have any!

Prayer point for me (And Princess aManda) is that when we do our law readings (super long with sentences that go on and on and repeats half the same thing...-.-) that we have concentration and UNDERSTANDING and not be DISTRACTED! ANd that we won't get sick of reading, so we are not turned off from reading God's word! YOSH. thanks girls *^______^*e

dear sparkling jelly princesses. I believe WE are the chosen generation, the generation called to touch heaven and change earth more than ever before. It is URGENT to reach out and change lives. Jesus came to earth for a reason - it re-establish His Father's Kingdom.

Let us not forget that when Jesus died on the cross, taking ALL our sickness, shame, hurts and disappointments, as well as our sins away from us had a PURPOSE for us to RISE UP and continue His and our Father's will of His Kingdom to reign over all of heaven and earth.

The way to life is narrow, it is not a smooth and easy to ride through for there will be many trials and temptations. Keep in mind that these TRIALS AND TEMPTATIONS are to teach us and train us up. Just like school and university - we learn and learn and learn, then you need to sit tests, do assignments and prepare yourself for the BIG exam which will reveal whether or not you are equipped for the 'go pass' to enter into your career as a professional. So very similar, the Word of God - Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth (BIBLE) will teach you and equip you, then when trials head your way you are able to overcome them with the knowledge of God's Word and conquer HDs.

Look at trials and temptation as training sessions, these sessions will chip off bad habits and polish up the Jesus in YOU.

Guard your heart at all times, be alert and be quick to respond to the opportunities that God opens up for YOU to speak life into your family peoples, your friends, random strangers (random bus stop peoples) and don't forget to encourage not only the new christians but the older christians.

We're family in Christ.

Don't be the common or the many that lust after the things of the world, but be the few, the few that walks with Jesus, the few that look towards God for peace, unconditional love, the few that draws strength and wisdom from Him and the few that our Heavenly Father looks upon with favour and takes delight in.

if you think about all the christians in the world, the true ones that have deep intimate relationship with Christ, then think about ALL the ones still living the ways of a fallen world that have yet to know Him the way you do - your Abba, your Provider, your first Love.

i pray that the Holy Spirit will stir in your hearts daily to enable you and move you to do great and mighty works our Father has called you to do. Lets be great citizens, citizens of the Kingdom of God that are super quick to obey, naturally quick to love and forgive, willing to share and slow, very slow to anger, worry and complain.

Stay sweet, use your time wisely - be organise, live everyday effectively advancing God's kingdom and above ALL, appreciate God - be thankful and grateful, and remember to count your blessings.

Keep running. Look far, Go deep, Dream big. Love each and every one of you girls.

Understanding our Heavenly Father

Dear sisters,

Thank you for another great night of YAF led by Jellybaby & powerpuffs~ you girls have enabled us to open up to share & to ask questions (lol especially for our HD student ...haha) so that we can all learn from one another!

Okay, from what we learnt yesterday night, i decided to put one of the verses into action.

<1>
Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share.

WILLING TO SHARE. These few words spoke into my heart somehow when the verse was read and the Holy Spirit reminded me of something that He revealed to me during one of my 3x3 prayers. So i just want to share this with you all:

The word: 'UNDERSTANDING' came into my mind during my weekly 3x3 prayer.

So i spent time thinking, what does this 'UNDERSTANDING' mean and how does it relate to what God wants me to do. This then relates to one of the verses that Jellymom has written in one of the blog entries about The Year of Increase, which says 'Increase in wisdom and understanding that helps you in all things'

Wisdom is supreme; therefore get wisdom. Though it cost all you have, get understanding.

From this word, I came to understand that in order for us to please God, we must obey His command because it is out of our LOVE for Him that we want to follow His wills. So, in order for us to an understanding of God, of who He really is; not soemthing that we try to think or judge He is, but who He really is through His words, through His amazing power manifested. It can only be done, when we surrender of all we have, then we can know who God is.

In every relationship, understnaidng is crucial in order for the two people to be in harmony, in love or at peace with one another. This is the same when it comes to our relationship with God. As we understand God by forgetting about ourselves, but 'be in His shoe', we will be more in love with Him, wanting to do what He wants, rather than following our own ways. We will be so in love with Him that we just want our lives to satisfy and to please Him!

So, i pray that we will be active in sharing our faith, so that we will have a full understanding of every good thing we have in Christ.

Love you all sisters, you girls are great joy and encouragement to me =)

Let's continue to spread the Love of God through our speech, our actions, our prayers etc~ so that we make the name of Jesus famous and known in all corners of the earth!!!

Miracle updates!

Thanks *again* for being so supportive on Friday night! Not only did we have fun preparing/leading, we learned a lot in the process! And from you girls too as you asked questions and participated in the discussion! I just received a sms from our precious Jellymom so decided to blog it straight away!

"Just finished service. Amazing miracles. Man in wheelchair, didn't go church 5yrs since stroke. Couldn't open fist, move hand, walk. Now can do all. Left wheelchair walkin in front of all! His wife w. walkin cane, dr's gave up on her. Cancer. Worse cond.than husband, severe pain gone. Walk without cane, telling all i'm healed! Man totally blind. Eyes just white, told Patty she's pale skin, smiling, he copied her movements, healed! Boy's leg grew out 1.5 inches! Dramatic miracle in sight of parents. Ankle twisted made straight. Mute & deaf, healed! Yest. man w acute pain in chest, back, etc for 25yr, can't walk without pain, healed! Way more things, 2little sms! God bless! Anne & team :) SPREAD UPDATES PLS!"

Whoa! Amen! Praise God! Hallelujah! God is ALIVE and is MOVING through the NLCC team! Continue to uphold them in your prayers!! Our God is AWESOME! How can we ever stop praising and worshipping Him!? Our God is such an exciting God!! So if you're having a boring dull day, you do not know Him. See what the team is doing in Indonesia?? It's not just for "super Christians" but for every single one of YOU who has been born again into God's family! That means YOU and ME! We can ALL do these because the miracle working God lives inside of us!

I've been meaning to blog for a few days now... But haven't got around to that until today! In addition to the updates of the Indonesia mission trip, I was inspired when I read Joshua 1.

God said: Every place that the sole of your foot will tread upon I have given you. (v.1) We claim this not only for the mission trip but also for our own lives! As we step into uni, God has ALREADY given it to us! (Notice the tenses used.) Every day as we go to uni, know that you have dominion (as Jesus has dominion and He lives inside of us) so we can have the confidence to reach out to our friends!

God the Father also said: No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life... I will be with you. (v.5) He is ALWAYS with us ( also see Mat 28:20); we can overcome ALL things! No harm shall come our way!

In this chapter, 3 times God commands us to
be strong and of good courage (v.6)
only be strong and and very courageous (v.7)
be strong and of good courage (v.9)

There must be a reason why He had to say that 3 times! This shows the importance and need of us standing strong and being courageous! (Note: the 'only' in v.7 doesn't mean be strong/courageous and nothing else... the 'only' is for emphasis...) It's not only something that God told us is good to be but its a command! Essentially He asked in v.9, have I not commanded you to be strong and of good courage? So we don't have an option! It's a MUST! Stemming from what we learnt on Friday, no matter what we face, because we have the HOPE of glory and God is with us ---> so we CAN be strong and courageous!

In this same passage, I have been reminded to KEEP FOCUS! Only be strong and courageous, that you may observe to do according to all the law... do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may prosper wherever you go. (v.7) Do not be distracted from being obedient to God and drawing close to Him! Janey sorta mentioned that in her recent post too. Studies, work, other commitments, material things etc should NOT cause us to remove our eyes from Jesus! If it does, you need to question your priorities and really come before God! Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal to you the subtle things that the devil place in your life that might be hindering God working in your life! When you DO fix your eyes on Jesus and walk in His righteousness no matter where you go you'll prosper! You'll be successful in studies, in business, have good health, have good relationships! Everything falls into place when your relationship with God is right and intimate!! So in your business, KEEP GOD AS YOUR NUMBER ONE!!!! Kepe looking ahead to what God has promised you (for being obedient and being a daughter of God) and that shall be our motivation to keep focused and not be side tracked!

easter camp-harvest time!

before i leave to g12, i just wanted to encourage all of you to register for this year's easter camp.

now i know some of you might have gone to many camps before and think that there is nothing for you to gain but i beg to differ. we serve a God that is fresh and new even every morning, let alone every year. He will not disappoint. to those who are thinking of going to their first camp yet you are abit hesitant because you dont know what to expect, take the leap of faith and come. something special has been ordained for you from our great God.

i was praying for easter camp the other day and i got a vision from God. at the beginning, there were many many many farmers (male and female; young and old)who were busy preparing themselves to go out to their field; ie getting their basket ready, sharpening their scissors and blades in order to cut down the fruits and putting appropriate entire to head out. then suddenly, all the farmers started heading out in one accord singing joyfully with a bounce in their steps and what i saw next blew me away. there were masses and masses and masses of ripen fruits everywhere; of all sizes, shapes and colours. there was not a branch that was dead but all were alive with beautiful fruits ready to be harvested.

in the same way, i believe many fruits will come as a result of this easter camp... that this will be a time for multiplication and increase over us. God is saying that this is NLCC's time for harvest and fruitfulness. that all the things that we have been praying for will be coming to past.

i dont know abt you but im so pumped. i dont want to even think abt missing out. let us prepare ourselves. register and encourage all those around you to do the same! keep each other accountable. we are each others' keeper!

anyways, we will be thinking of you guys when we are in singapore in the g12 conference.

take good care of one another, esp all the new babies of both anne's jellies and my popcorns. ^___^

My internet is back and fast! woo hoo ^_^

How is everyone?? First week of uni is over, and look what God gave us already- a public holiday for us to recharge!!!!!!!! YAY ^___^ God is so awesome!
AND just hearing all those miracles the Indonesia Mission Team have told us about, realllly starts off 2009 with a BANG!
And straight after, G12...the delegates that are going are gonna bring back some BURNING REVIVIAL FIRE!!! AMEN? =D YES!

because after that, will be an AWESOME EASTER PRESENTATION- followed by our AWESOME EASTER CAMP!!!!!

My oh my, this year is gonna be busy busy busy! =D BUSY about our FATHER'S BUSINESS!

Just wanna say thank you to all you girls for supporting us last night!!!

Your contribution is precious to us, because we learn from you girls and want to hear what your say !! so that we may all get to know each other more ^___^ It was a fun night! hehe!

Just wanna share what i heard from God a weeks ago, but i haven't blogged~!

It was when we were singing "You are in my all in all" at YAF ! The Holy Spirit was soooo strong then and really convicted me during one line, which was:

"Seeking you as a precious jewel,
Lord to give up, I'd be a fool"

Holy Spirit really showed me that the way to seek GOD, to seek JESUS, is to seek them with a heart of love- like how people love precious jewels because they are worth so much and it becomes the object of their desire!
I think Ps Anne has said this once before... but its to pursue and pursue ..because the end prize is something that is most definetly worth it- it is GOD. And that we should never ever give up..

because to give up, I'd be a fool.
I'd give up the HOPE that can lead me through all sorts of sufferings, and chances of growing. To give up, I'd let all my family n friends down...especially those that I haven't reached out to.

The urgency to reach out THIS YEAR is pulling at my heart, because if I let other things come before God, I'd be a fool...those things (ie studies..work..materialism) aren't gonna help me in eternity, because those things are all temperorary but the ONE who will last, is the one that we should seek!!

If we seek things that are temporary, the desire we have for them are temporary too, so when we get them, we desire them no longer.
But if we seek God, who is eternal, we will never lose that desire, and will constantly hunger for more of him even if we had a taste- we will want more!!

That's why I'm looking forward to seeking God on a new level in 2009! I want to learn more, hunger more, and know more of His word!!

How exciting that NLCC is really rising up and our jelly princess life group is becoming really close =D But its not a type of closeness that when other people come in, they don't fit it. It's like a close-ness where we ALLLLL share the same love and DESIRE and VISION!!!

Like when new friends come in, we ALL want to show love to them and make them all feel welcome without being told XDDDD ! I love it!

I love how we have our destinies lined up together and that we get to GROW TOGETHER!!!!!!!

It's SOOO EXCITING that we are REALLY LIKE SISTERS~!!!! hehehe ^___^ im feeling JOYOUS atm!

THis morning i woke up really dizzy and feeling like i was going to be sick.. that i had to leave early with my sister from a drawing class >_< but ive rebuked it..and since JESUS is my healer- I feel 100% annnnd i got some time to BLOG~!!!

And I had forgotten how fun it is to blog! Because as we hare- Holy Spirit starts to take over and put words in you heart to write :)

I encourage you all to blog more (and i will myself too - so long as my internet is working fast enough to load this page ^_^). AND if you don't know what to blog, just blog about your day :P hehe! it's also a good way to know what each other has been up to, what you need prayers for, or what made you smile today ^__^

I just received a sms from Jmom at 12:48am (adelaide time) = 10:18pm (Indonesia Time). It is so exciting to hear the great news, and so i can't wait to share with you all, despite my last upload of post wasn't successful~ but i will not give up until this post can be shown to you all!

The message from Anne and team is as follow:

'great miracles from morning to night. Woman with TB healed! Man with blurred vision in right fwd instantly healed. word of knowledge hearing problem left ear instantly healed. Muslim man came from hospital ICU meant to go for operation completely healed, unable to move,now have no more pain. Man with stroke left eye bad vision, healed. So many other miracles! the team is having so much fun! 1 man cam from streets as he heard the preaching, came with pain in back, completely healed. God is great! please share report! much love, anne& team'

So praise the Lord for His faithfulness in answering our many prayers and has such wonderful plans for NLCC to go out to the nations, truly making disciples of all nations! For those of you who will be fasting& praying in the next few days~ Jellybaby has recommended me to read Psalm 58 on true fasting, which gave me new insights to see as God sees! So may you continue to uphold the team in your prayers so that we as One, a body of Christ will unite together to celebrate our victory in Christ Jesus!

Sam shared with me his thoughts on this mission trip and it really spoke to me so here I'll enlighten all of you. He likened this mission trip to Indonesia to that of an astronaut team heading to space. Just like the team would have the support of the ground staff sending them out, WE AS A FAMILY WILL AVAIL OURSELVES TO INTERCEDE AND SUPPORT THEM WITH OUR PRAYERS. Just like the team would need the green light from their boss and government, OUR SENIOR PASTORS AND THE LEADERSHIP OF THE CHURCH SENDS THEM OFF WITH BLESSINGS. Just like each person needed to fulfil their specific roles, WE AS A FAMILY HAVE AN INDIVIDUAL PART TO PLAY IN THE GREATER SUCCESS. Just like the work does not end till the team back on earth, OUR RESPONSIBILITY TO PRAY, TO DECLARE, TO SPEAK AND TO INTERCEDE SHALL NOT CEASE TILL WE HEAR THE LIFE CHANGING TESTIMONIES.

Keep each other accountable now that all of you have the roster. Remind your brothers and sisters. And if anyone wants to make changes or join this roster, let me know. ^___^

dear beautiful jelly princesses, is it not amazing that the Creator of all things, the Lord of lords and King of kings, the ONE we call abba has given us earth??

We His children, His PRINCESSES that He takes delight in has been chosen to ESTABLISH God's will on earth as it is in heaven. WE will do mighty in the lands he has already ordain for us to have victory in. As the scripture says that God WILL work in you and act according to HIS good purpose. Our God is GOOD, He is a GREAT God.

TRUST in the Lord, He is your help and shield.

Feel the urgency to LEAVE your comfort zone, GO to your families and friends, and SPEAK to new faces and tell of God's SALVATION He has instored for them.

and RUN with it, RUN with the ideas, RUN ahead of the enemy, RUN to save souls, RUN to restore the broken hearted, RUN to heal the sick, RUN like Jesus,

i pray that our hearts will be soften and broken and filled with the Lord's compassion. Deep Communion

Girls!

I know it sure has been awhile since I last posted on this blog or seen most of you but better than never. ^___^ Dont worry, I'll be back in Adelaide this time next week. Anyways, besides letting you know that I am alive and well (obviously!), I wanted to share a beautiful experience I had when I was in Brunei. I had the privilege to work with two missionaries that have been traveling around the world to further God's kingdom. The guy mostly moved in physical healing and his wife's main ministry was inner healing. As God would have it, they asked me to minister with them especially in the area of worship so during those days, I had an opportunity to learn and soak in all they wanted to teach me, which I wanted to share with my sisters.

Firstly, I could see such a hunger for God's word; it was truly the BREAD that kept them going from day to day; they knew it much better than the back of their hand; most evident when they preached.

Secondly, they had such a passion for God's people. They constantly put aside their needs and own plans to meet people at where they were at; this meant hardly anytime for meals or sleep. During the nights, we would minister way past midnight because people just could not help but respond to the call of God upon their life, then we would go home to rest before they would bring people to our house during the day for one-on-one ministry with families (there was no where else available). They just had such a burning desire to see as many people as possible reached and touched. People could see that and wanted to know what was the fire behind their passion.

Thirdly, love was always their agenda. They were ready to give up things other people would consider more important to just spend time with God's people. Each individual was like gold to them; even if are yet to be introduced. All they wanted to do was GIVE GIVE GIVE of their precious time, effort and money.

Fourthly and most importantly, they had such a DEEP COMMUNION with God. They could hear the voice of God so clearly; what an impression it made in me! They would lay hands on people for two seconds, download from heaven speak into their lives, telling them certain things from the past, current situations that they are facing then prophesy on their future. Not only that, they would simply look at a picture of a person and immediately, God would begin to speak through them. Obviously, with the anointing and presence of God comes signs and wonders so people were being healed and made whole. Time and time again, I was just amazed during our ministry just mightily God used them. By the end of the week, I was speechless. I now crave for that same intimacy. They are truly friends of God, who commune with Him every second.

More than the heat of summer, I pray that I make more of a lasting impression on people and I know that its only possible through God's power. I, no longer just want only 10 words of knowledge or visions from God daily but I desire for a non-stop communion that is completely unbroken. That, in the busyness of life, whether I'm in church or shopping or playing sports or driving the car or relaxing at home, I'm aware of God and availing myself to Him. Whether I'm with my family or with the worshipnet or with my uni mates, I am talking to God and He is talking to me. Whether I am on holidays or during uni or working, I never stop sharing life with God. This way, I will be more like Him and I can honestly say that its no longer I who live but Christ who lives in me.

Cant wait to hear all that has been going with you girls!

According to Starvation.net, someone dies on our planet every other second to AIDs, starvation or waterborne diseases—eighty-five percent are children. 20% of children in Niger, Africa will die before they reach the age of five.

Let us think beyond to our brothers and sisters around the nations and remind ourselves of how shockingly blessed we indeed are! While many complain about the heat wave that we currently face - think of the comfort we have knowing that at any time, we can buy a cold drink, have a cold shower, put the air-con on, etc. - Then let your imagination take you to the nations.

DID YOU KNOW 40,000 children die every day worldwide to starvation and pestilence. India and Africa combined are burdened with ninety percent of this sad figure. The rest are spread over Latin American countries. Fifteen million children die every year worldwide.... did you know?

DID YOU KNOW the reason why we were so blessed to be born in our current circumstances is to bless all the families of the earth? [Gen.12:3] "& inYOU all the families of the earth shall be blessed"

DID YOU KNOW giving to the poor, clothing the naked, giving water to children, loving the orphans are COMMANDS by the Lord Jesus Christ and not just optional extras when we feel extra generous? Chinese New Year is coming up and that we, as sisters, in the family of NLCC can serve and take part in what's happening in the house of God! For most of the Chinese, New Year celebration is considered as one of the most important events of the year, in which families come together and share the love and joy together, and to hope for prosperity in all areas of life!

For us as children of God, we have the privilege to share our life in Jesus Christ, our beautiful saviour, and that our Heavenly Father, who is a faithful and promise-keeping God, has planned for us FAVOUR, INCREASE, BLESSINGS, SALVATION and many more!

Let us continue to offer our bodies to God, so that we can be used as vessels to be blessings to others. Use every opportunity to invite your family, your friends to come along; and also to continue to pray for increase in connections with people and increase in the depth of the relationships with our friends!

1. red bean cake in coconut milk (served cold; easy recipe)
[preparation time will be around 30mins, let me know if anyone is interested and i will pass on the recipe]

2. fruits - water melon balls (very easy but fun to scoop out the water melon and present it nicely~)[if anyone is intersted...i can lend you my 'water melon baller']

3. glutinous rice ball with mango (served cold; a bit challenging)[the stuffing inside doesn't have to be mango...but lol i am a mango fan~ anyway, i have made it recently and it seems to be quite nice, but preparation time may be quite long; if anyone is interested, do let me know, i have the recipe!]

4. mango pudding (served cold; very easy recipe)[learnt from my collague recently, an extremely easy recipe which took me 15mins of preparation , but very yummy! so email me or talk to me so that i will briefly explain to you what you need to do]

acutally, i would love to suggest white raddish cake too....one of my favourites back home...but it's a challenging recipe!

Thats what I've got in my diary so far!~~

I got something else to share...

I mentioned at YAF that all my results were out and that I was happy with what I got. But before I got to that, I was kinda disappointed at one of my marks. I mentioned to church friends that I'll probably get a distinction for that subject, after someone was teasing me about getting the top marks. I mean, I still got a credit so it wasn't bad... But it just didn't meet my expectation. Nevertheless after I checked my results I thanked God for blessing me with at least all passes. I tried to figure out how I got my credit... I don't think I've ever studied as hard for an exam than I did for this particular paper. Suddenly I remembered... One day at uni when my friends and I were meeting up to study togeter, they were saying "I only want a pass" or "I'll be happy with a pass". I thought, yea I'll def pass because I have God on my side, I'll def get higher than a pass. So I said to them "I want a credit" seeing that their standards were so low. So yesterday I reflected on why my attitude when I was with my uni friends were so diff to with brother/sisters at church. I finally understood so I've decided to blog it to warn you guys too. A few verses came to mind (you see, its good to have learnt our memory verses!):

"Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit." (Proverbs 18:21)

"Out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not to be so." (James 3:10)

"Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven." (Matthew 10:32)

"Also I say to you, whoever confesses Me before men, him the Son of Man also will confess before the angels of God." (Luke 12:8)

"...for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap." (Galatians 6:&b)

I realized that I kinda paved my own path to get to a lower result... I wasn't game enough to tell my uni friends that particular time that because of who I am in God's eyes and that His favour is on me that I'll excell in that subject. By my words I had sown something that was harmful into my own life. If I had thought of these verses prior to me being careless with my words, then this would not have happened. But God makes all things good!! "And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose." (Romans 8:28). He used this experience to teach me a lesson.
So afterwards, I repented and thanked the Holy Spirit for revealing this this lesson to me. Praise God there is no condemnation in God when you come back to Jesus!! "There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus." (Romans 8:1) So yea... this was my experience this week~ xD

I pray that you too would be careful with what you do in your everyday lives... Be watchful (as I said in the previous post) with the things you do and say so not to accidentally sow harmful things in your lives. The devil knows how to subtly pull us down... But we are OVERCOMERS in Christ!! And when we do fall, God will pick us up!!! He loves us no matter what!!! What great assurance!! =) Hehehe...

Stepping Stone or Stumbling Block??

Just want to say....

We'll miss you Princess Lee Ping and Princess Christy!!!!
Hope you have a great time overseas (back home) and don't forget to SHINE for Jesus wherever you go!! xD We'll probably put updates on the blog (since exams are ending soon, people would be free to blog, won't we?? Hehe..)!

Another thing I wanted to share was a vision that I received from God last week... I was praying for compassion for His people and the vision kinda looked like this (except it was my own hands that I was looking at) --->>>

They were 2 red bricks that I was holding, one on each hand. At first I didn't know what the significance of it was and even questioned whether it was from God, because earlier in the day I was talking to Janey about a house built with red bricks. As I asked God what He was trying to show me (if it was from Him), He said to me:

Are you a stepping stone or a stumbling block??

Then it got me thinking... I first took it literally: bricks can be used to build walls and houses but if it was in the wrong place, lying on the floor, someone may trip over it.

The 2 bricks were identical on the appearance. He reminded me that the things we say and the things we do, as children of God, could either build up/encourage someone or hinder someone. Suddenly I felt the importance of the way we live our lives. I was reminded that we have been told to "be doers of the word and not hearers only" (James 1:22).

God later led me to 1 John 2:9-11

9 He who says he is in the light, and hates his brother, is in darkness until now. 10 He who loves his brother abides in the light, and there is no cause for stumbling in him. 11 But he who hates his brother is in darkness and walks in darkness, and does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes.

The Scripture said that to be a stepping stone, you'll need to LOVE your brother/sister! If you're walking in the light, that is in line with who God wants you to be, you'll be a stepping stone.

Romans 14 :13

Therefore let us not judge one another anymore, but rather resolve this, not to put a stumbling block or a cause to fall in our brother’s way.

In the previous verses the Apostle Paul was talking about people in the church having disagreements in opinions... We must LOVE them and accept one another: Receive one who is weak in the faith, but not to disputes over doubtful things. (Romans 14:1) Those who are weak in the faith include new Christians, Christians with the lack of spiritual food and those who know enough about God just to slip into the kingdom of God... Those who are weak in their faith are easy to fall/stumble so we should not be judgmental towards them, lest we make them fall. We are in no position to judge one other anyways. Only God has the right to judge us (Romans 14:4). Correction is different from judging though. If fellow brothers/sisters are in sin, correct them out of LOVE rather than being judgmental. When you do this, you lead them to repentance and also you build them up (being a stepping stone).

Soon after I had the vision, an example came to mind (not so much about judging others but by the things we say and do) - suppose there is a stronger Christian who normally encourages weaker brothers/sisters about putting God first during exam times. And when the stronger Christian has an exam him/herself, they are not seen at Church... What would the weaker Christian think if he was looking up to him/her? In this case, the stronger Christian would have become a stumbling block to the weaker one, although it may not be intentional.

I was challenged to be mindful of the little things that we say and do. I in turn ask you the question that God put forth to me... Let us all be stepping stones to each other by LOVING one another, being there for one another, being accountable, being encouraging, supportive, loving, friendly... and the list goes on... Children of God on the outside may look the same as anyone else (just like the 2 bricks) but it is their action that tells us who they really are!!

I believe that during exam period and as we approach Christmas time, we need to rise up to be the person God wants us to be and really to be stepping stones to one another! Harvest time is coming... The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few... Let us get to work girls!! Not just on Fridays and Sundays but everyday of our lives! Everyday is an opportunity to bring someone to Christ! Amen?? =)

Heelllooo.....to all my beautiful sisters,

Yeah~ I have conquered my BIOCHEM exam with a testimony to share with you!

Well this morning I got up, feeling excited for this brand new day to glorify God in my exam, knowing that God's promises want us to be always at the top, never at the bottom; always the head, and never the tail [deuteronomy 28:13]!

After breakfast however, I was suffering from constant stomach pain and then eventually diaherra as well. As a child of God, knowing that Jesus has already paid the price of sins & pain for us once and for all, I knew that those pains had no rights to reside in me. Thanks be to God, He has placed His healing hands on me. Later on, the symptoms came back again; and I was getting concerned because obviously i would not want to waste time in the exam to be in the toilet lol So I kept declaring to myself that 'By Jesus' stripes, I am already healed' [isaiah 53:5], as I believed that I knew that I would not need to go back to that bathroom again in pain! Before leaving the house for the exam, still having slight discomfort in stomach & anxiety about exam (did not manage to do any studies at all this morning, and 'felt' as if i have forgotten everything i learnt), my housemate laid hand and prayed for me.

And once again, I bring all glory & praises to God, because in the entire exam, NO PAIN, not even any sense of discomfort came upon me! It is just as the psalmist says 'when evil men advance against me to devour my flesh, when my enemies and my foes attack me, they will stumble and fall. Though an army besiege me, my heart will not fear; though war break out against me, even then will I be confident.' [psalm 27:2-3]~ How wonderful that what princess fish mentioned in last night yaf about us being the STRONGEST PEOPLE ON EARTH BECAUSE WE ARE CHRISTIANS, have truly reminded me my true identity and true position in the world!

Other than that, some parts of the exam were challenging and covered things that I did not really spend much time on. I had a minute of doubt, but then I remembered from worship last night that God is my wisdom, my provider, my deliverer, my rock, my very-present help. So i began to give thanks to the Lord with the wisdom and knowledge that was already in me; and trusting that Jesus has overcome the world, there is nothing too hard for Him! I began to answer all the questions that I have previously left blank (about 6 questions out of 15 which worthed a lot of marks) I finished the entire paper, not leaving any blank at all~ God is faithful and as I trusted in Him with all my heart, He came to my rescue. How great is our God!!!!

So, this has been my day, and without God, I would be nothing. So give thanks to God that 'the one who is in us in greater than the one who is in the world.' [1john 4:4] ad that everyone born of God overcomes the world!

Just want to praise God once again that I have a bunch of loving sisters who prayed for me (especially with so many people laying hands on me =) ! This love & care is truly from the children of God, who walk in the light!

Cling tightly onto our Heavenly Father who is our light and our salvation! May you walk continually in His truth!

Encouragement during exams

Hi girls!!

AMEN (to Anne's post)! Despite exams being the women of God, we MUST rise up and KEEP reaching out! This is our purpose! We cannot stop doing what we've been called to do! **Thanks again Anne for posting the exam timetable up so we can strengthen/encourage one another**

Worried about exams? Remember Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

What Anne said at the beginning at YAF acted like a wake up call!! A father who loves his son would discipline him... So will our Father in Heaven and our spiritual mom too! (Proverbs 13:24) And also a wise child will accept his/her parents' discipline (Proverbs 13:1) and we are all wise, aren't we? =P So just want to say thanks Anne for the disciplining, we know you want the best for us and so we will present ourselves approved to God (2 Tim 2:15)!!

After the disciplining at YAF... I told God that I wanted a fresh start and that nothing was to stop me from reaching out/praying/communing with God. Since Friday night, devotions have been more focused and the day becomes a LOT better (efficient/fun/full of joy)!! On Sunday morning devotion was good... Worship time at church was so happy/joyful xD Dwelling in God's presence... My first time teaching Sunday School was good... Didn't mind serving food right after the lesson... =P Been busy running around but it was enjoyable. SOL 3 class was good, learnt how to do mini sermons~ And after a wonderful morning, God blessed me with divine ideas to write 2000 words for my assignment that is due this Friday! Despite spending the extra time with Him, it doesn't cost you in terms of your studies! So just want to encourage you all that Mat 6:33 DOES WORK! God's logic/way to do things is totally different from the way of the world! So don't get them mixed up during your busyness!!!

I typed up a few verses over the weekend that is encouraging over exam period. Its just some from the sweet Word of God... So feel free to add to the list! =P

wowies..haven't blogged since BEFORE miracle encounter!!!
=D..its the time of the year where exams, assignments pile up up and away! hehehe..but its also a test of our faith =D we must not let those piles of work block our sight of our Heavenly Father! He is the one who gave us JESUS and is our provider-of strength, wisdom and divine favour to successfully be more than conquerors!!

These assignments, tests are just more opportunities for us to take to GLORIFY GOD!!!

Just like the Miracle Encounter was to bring glory to GOD...and even as all the hype is fading away, God will never fade, and neither is his power of LOVE. it is to stay- whether we feel it or not, whether we use it or not, whether we give it to others or not, God will always give to you.

What is YOUR definition of love?
Well your definition of love is reflected through your expectations.

Special presents, diamonds, money, romance will NOT hold together a relationship (with partners, families, friends etc)

What will hold a relationship together is love that is unconditional.

"Agape"-- is a Christian love, which is unconditional.
There are NO conditions to why we should love. We love because we have GOD, who is love.
And we are able to love supernaturally, that goes against all human nature.

EG: loving your enemies! that is hard to do, but we know we are empowered to do it because God gave us the command, and He wouldn't give us commands without giving us the ability to do it =D

Love is an action word - it is sacrificial- COSTS us our pride, time, efforts, patience...

Love is fearless- we have confidence in the security of the God's love.

Love does not expect anything in return.
Jesus Christ saved us NOT because of anything that we could do FOR him....but purely because God SO loved us.

Matthew 5:43-48 LOVE your enemies ^__^

In summary- get to know God- and you'll get to know true love, which will then flow through you as love should, and you can then love others in the same way that Jesus loved the people =)

ready for REVIVAL???

Do we want revival more than we want to breathe? Do we have the radical and holy desire to see God break out? Do we find that the purpose statement for our lives is to have the weight of His glory follow us?

The Scripture speaks about the presence of God. Beginning in Genesis 1:2 with the Spirit of God hovering over the face of the waters and ending in Revelation 22:20 with our Lord's promise, "I am coming soon," Scripture is clear about God's desire for us to dwell in His presence. The patriarchs, the prophets, the disciples, the apostles, and the early church fathers were always seeking a greater measure of the "coming of God." They realized that without God's manifest presence, little of eternal significance would take place.

Knowing how desperately they needed God, they were set on seeking Him.

Likewise, may we be in pursuit to have the REVIVER of REVIVALS in our lives! May we not be content to be in His presence only when we go NLCC. May we not be content just to hear about Him or read about Him. May we not be content until He takes His rightful place!

Is there any evidence of God moving in our nation like He did in previous centuries in other countries? What about our church? Are we seeing signs of true revival? Are marriages being restored? Is there weeping for lost souls? Are people being unexplainably drawn to Christ? Are the prayer meetings filled to overflowing? Are people hungry for the Word of God? Are people changing from old habits and ways? Are we establishing Kingdom of God wherever we go?

A few weeks ago, God gave me a vision during women's net. It was of our church (that is, us) contained within a box. As we prayed, the glory of God filled it to the brim until the 4 walls exploded because it could no longer contain the weight of His presence. I believe that as we repent, turn from our wicked ways and seek the Lord's face, indeed, He will turn towards us, open the flood gates of heaven and fill our house till its overflowing.

God spoke clearly to me that night that He cannot be limited or contained because He is infinite and longs to go far beyond the 4 walls of our church and all that we have ever expected.

Yet again, on Saturday during worshipnet, God gave me a word based from Isaiah 40:

"Prepare the way of the LORD;
Make straight in the desert
A highway for our God.
Every valley shall be exalted
And every mountain and hill brought low;
The crooked places shall be made straight
And the rough places smooth;
The glory of the LORD shall be revealed,
And all flesh shall see it together;
For the mouth of the LORD has spoken.”

As we prepare the way of the Lord by our lives, His glory
WILL come and all flesh from the NORTH, SOUTH,
EAST and WEST shall be witnesses.

Miracle Encounter!

HELLOOOOOOO GIRLS!!!! WARRIOR JANE dropping by XD

Miracle Encounter is coming up VERY VERY SOON =)

When we had worship on Sunday morning, I was praying for the Miracle Encounter, when the Holy Spirit reminded me that, God is an infinite God , who plans way before we did.

Before NLCC had the idea of Miracle Encounter, it was already in the mind of God. The miracles that will happen, have already been ordained. Therefore, we can just CLAIM it by FAITH. Because faith is believing and expecting the things not yet seen! (The bus is coming ^_^)

Also, Holy Spirit reminded me that what we expect will be exceeded, and that God has much bigger and larger plans for NLCC, and that miracles have ALREADY been happening.

Who would've thought that when we first heard about Miracle Encounter, that WE would be going to the streets and talking to STRANGERS and just following on the promptings of the Holy Spirit, walking into opportunities, speaking to people's hearts, telling them the GOOD NEWS, telling them of HOPE..
-->giving the sick- the disabled- the faithless- people who've never heard about JESUS-->
a CHANCE to come to know of the love that God has for them.

We, who are the church, going to the streets! I believe that is a miracle already =D I've never spoken to strangers about Jesus before..but the more we do of God's work, the joy that comes from doing it is...a joy that i've certainly never felt before!

When the sick person in a wheelchair says "Oh thank you, I'd love to come! How do I get there?"
You feel such a joy that is only explained because you know that that person will get to see and experience and come into contact with the LOVE OF GOD.

The miracles started way before this coming Thursday, and will CONTINUE until Jesus comes again, because JESUS is the same yesterday, today and FOREVER!

Therefore keep declaring that MIRACLE ENCOUNTER will just be the BEGINNING of something GREAT, something MIGHTY, something GLORIOUS, that is coming...the REVIVAL!
So when the Miracle Encounter is over, we as NLCC, must pray for the seeds, nurture the seeds, and WORK to bring in the harvest! Because it will just be the beginning of the revival!!!

We cannot rest because we'll have plenty of time to rest when we are with God ^_^

As for now, get assignments done quickly with the Holy Spirit....who will guide you through and provide strength wisdom and understanding.
I've done 1,200 already! woo hoo ^_^ need to make lots of time for the Miracle Encounter- praying hard working hard and enjoying hard =D hehehe!!!

KEEP INVITING PEOPLE- everyDAY ...at least ONE ahhaha! or 5 or 10 ...one missed opportunity and the person that you DIDN'T talk to, didn't get to hear about JESUS ...so use all opportunities the Holy Spirit brings you xD

With the girls today...we bumped into a group of young people. One guy who just asked us random questions about the people across the road dressing up in japanese anime styles...and we ended up asking him to come to miracle encounter- and found out his sister was disabled!

So opportunities come from ANYWHERE so have your HEARTS full of compassion and open, eyes opened and ears listening, and be IN TUNED to the Holy Spirit!!!

Then get ready for some fun ..it really is fun ...there are so many stories...just ask around and you'll hear many fantastic stories from the prayer walks and flyer distributions! =D

Jesus is the same YESTERDAY - yesterday as in the books of MATTHEW, MARK, LUKE, JOHN- where he healed people by putting his hands on them, spitting on mud and healing a BLIND person....

TODAY...which is NOW. Jesus is your healer NOW. If you are sick, in pain or have heavy burdens, Jesus takes it away, because He already paid the price so you don't have to suffer. Just CLAIM IT =D

FOREVER- Jesus CONTINUOUSLY heals, not just yesterday and not just today, but at the MIRACLE ENCOUNTER AND AFTER TOO!

How wonderful! =D So if you see someone sick, they are in pain, and what you say will NOT make that pain go deeper, because the words you speak are through the Holy Spirit- and that only brings healing and GOOD- because it comes from God.
So it will not hurt them =D But by not saying anything, well that hurts God, because he doesn't want to see those people in pain- that's why he sent JESUS!

So let's represent JESUS to the world, to the hurting...have a heart of Compassion =D and be MOVED!

Do you feel the urgency??

Hey girls~

It was refreshing to read Janey's post! It really reminded me that NOW is the time to bring in the lost!!

Do you believe that the Miracle Encounter will kick start revival in Adelaide?? I do!!!! Let us prepare our hearts as we approach October. As revival is getting closer and closer my the minute, we need to be ACTIVE as the devil is not going to sit back and let us have revival. The devil is on the look out to pull us down - with discouragement, temptations, lies... Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. (1 Peter 5:8 - TNIV)

Be good stewards of Christ, encourage one another and build one another up! Evangelizing is GOOD but let us not forget those who are slipping into the hands of the devil. Let us be diligent and intercede for them DAILY! Each soul is precious to Jesus!

I was praying one day this week that God show me how to reach out to the unsaved and to bring back those who are losing faith. I also asked God to show me what happens if we don't bring them back, where do they go if they're not walking in the narrow path and keeps going astray... The Holy Spirit directed me to James 5:17-20:

17 Elijah was a human being, even as we are. He prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the land for three and a half years. 18 Again he prayed, and the heavens gave rain, and the earth produced its crops.

This verse spoke to me... to pray until something happens (PUSH)! Persevere and don't give up!! There is no one who is too far that God cannot reach!!! Keep praying/interceding and you WILL see the harvest!! Let us follow the example of Elijah, he too was human... Let us keep praying until God opens the floodgates of heaven!!!

19 My brothers and sisters, if one of you should wander from the truth and someone should bring them back, 20 remember this: Whoever turns a sinner from the way of error will save them from death and cover over a multitude of sins.

These two verses were on the line of what I was asking God for... People around us are DYING! How can we be selfish (like Jane mentioned) and not something about it?? To lead someone (back) to Christ is giving them LIFE! Knowing that when you go out to bring them back is giving them life and to bring about the forgiveness of sins, should COMPEL you to reach out! Who would watch their brothers/sisters walk towards death and not stop them?

In the same day, the Holy Spirit drew my attention to Leviticus 26:14-42 that really gave me revelation to what happens when people do not obey God's command...

But if you will not listen to me and carry out all these commands, and if you reject my decrees and abhor my laws and fail to carry out all my commands and so violate my covenant, then I will do this to you... Bring sudden terror, disease, you'll sow your seed in vain, defeated by your enemies, those who hate you will reign over you

The listing of punishes pauses for a moment. With the words 'if after all this' it sounds like God is giving us a chance to come back to Him. God steps back sometimes so you realize that you ought not to be in control of your life. And in recognizing that you turn back to Him...

And after all this, if you do not obey Me, then I will punish you seven times more for your sins...
Then, if you walk contrary to Me, and are not willing to obey Me...
And if by these things you are not reformed by Me, but walk contrary to Me...
And after all this, if you do not obey Me, but walk contrary to Me...

Time and time again God says if after all this you still choose to disobey, this is what will happen... The list of punishes keeps going... All the verbs used when talking about the punishes were 'shall' and 'will' which means there is NO escape. It's not "maybe God will punish disobedience"... But He WILL!!

It was crying out to me HOW LONG IS IT GOING TO TAKE YOU TO START OBEYING MY WORD?? GO OUT AND BRING THE LOST/BACK SLIDDEN! WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? MY POWER IS WITH YOU AS YOU GO OUT IN OBEDIENCE! WHAT CAN BE MORE FRIGHTENING THAN SEEING YOUR BROTHER/SISTER WALKING DOWN THAT PATH?!

I found a turning point as I approached the end of the chapter...

But IF they confess their iniquity and the iniquity of their fathers... if their uncircumcised hearts are humbled, and they accept their guilt, THEN I will remember My covenant with Jacob, and My covenant with Isaac and My covenant with Abraham I will remember; I will remember the land.

The turning point is confession/repentance!! God is calling YOU TODAY to go and lead the lost back home!! I got convicted to stop giving excuses and just to go out and do what God has called us to!! Let this urgency be in our hearts... Let us see the world through Jesus' eyes... There is nothing better than doing what Jesus has commanded us to! And seeing His precious people coming home into His warm embrace!

BUSY? BURDENED? TIRED?

"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened,
and I will give you rest. " (Matthew 11:28 NIV)

It's that time of the semester where things are due, tests are coming up, things piling up and everything seems so busy busy busy.

I know I've been feeling that, have you??
Well, after days of just drainage...I took some time and just went to Jesus.
Especially on wednesday morning, I missed out on devotion because I slept through alarms...and only just made it to uni on time >.<>

But the word that I got was God saying, I've been there for you last year, and the many years before, for assignments, for tests...yet STILL, you try to control your time yourself and disobey- not putting God first.

I have a billion of excuses to why I haven't been advancing the Kingdom of God, but if I were to stand before God and say them, I know that God will just turn his face away, because I just buried what God had given me, and not shared it or multiplied it.

That night at PRAYER MEETING...Holy Spirit reminded me that repentance and a renewal of the heart is what is needed.
When zeal and passion and fire for God is covered by the worries and anxieties of the World, then we have lost our first love for JESUS. So girls, DAILY, ignite that FIRE, so that our hearts may be compassionate, passionate, zealous...

*Turn your eyes on JESUS, NOT the problems, NOT the assignment. *
>> Turn your eyes upon Jesus....and the things of this world will go strangely dim.....<<

As his love strengthens you, you'll find that doing your assignment will become JOYFUL, instead of strenous and tiring....and your TESTS become an opportunity for SUCCESS AND GLORY TO GOD..instead of headaches =)
yes?? It is a narrow road...and turning your eyes upon Jesus whilst ur 2500 word essay is STARING at you...is hard i know ^^ or your pile of reading is taller than your BIBLE..so that your bible is hidden away >.<.....then [a practical tip] just PUT your bible on TOP of that reading! hehe like this: with the light shining on it standing up wards, OR you could do this:
lie it flat so it won't fall over...ahhaha ^^
So whenever you want to put your head on the table, you'll see the word of God on TOP of everything! WOO HOO..power of the WORD brings LIFE. Hence, i am quite energetic now ..ahhaa.. (also writing blogs are really good way to let your thoughts out, so if you feel like taking a rest, just type a blog because i feel like i'm talking to all of you right now! xD)

Well girls, remember to keep growing your relationship with the Holy Spirit because Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to be our counsellor =) the Holy Spirit is the one that you can talk to about ANNNNNNNYTHING...and! Not only listens, or talks to you, BUT will take YOUR prayers into the spiritual realm to INTERCEDE for OTHERRRRRRRS!!!
How awesome is the Holy Spirit?? just too awesome for our understanding to understand hehe !
Praise God for his love, and teaching us how to love ^^

MIRACLE ENCOUNTER- let's get the sick in, because even though you may feel embarrassed to give them a flyer, THEIR pain is MUCHHHHHHHHHHHH more.
And Holy Spirit told me that I'm selfish, because I KNOW that Jesus Heals, I know the power of the authority of Heaven, yet, I was too embarrassed to step out of my comfort zone to talk to someone that needs healing.

What can we lose? face?? The most they can do is go, eh...ok...look away.. "let's get out of here" to their friend.

Well, you may feel like giving up, or feel like you looked silly- but know that if you keep persisting, God will smile upon you and say, well done good and faithful servant.

because WHAT if the person you DIDN'T speak to, would actually want to come?? and really desperately wants be to free of the pain they are in.
One soul makes the angels in heaven REJOICE!

And the fact that YOUR name is in the book of life, means that your joy cannot be shaken, for whatever you do here for the glory of God will be known to God.

so let's share the love that we have!

When asked why God has come to various communities around the world, bringing revival and transformation, the people can point to a single reason; because He was invited. If we desire God to come to our communities, and change them, then we must dedicate ourselves to call upon Him, and invite Him over and over again. This means giving ourselves no rest until He is delighted to come. This means not only asking, but also "offering" a spiritual climate that is welcoming to His presence.

There is no price too great to pay for His all consuming presence.

But let man and beast be covered with sackcloth, and cry mightily unto God
-Jonah 3:8-

What does it mean to seek God with all your heart? One thing it means is that you're going to pray as a marathoner and not a sprinter.

DON'T GIVE UP!

Keep praying. We need to be like Jacob. Remember? He saw an angel of the Lord at the brook Jabbok and he wrestled with him all night. And do you remember the angel in the morning said, "Let me go." And what did Jacob say in Genesis 32:26? "I will not let you go unless you bless me." Sisters, I challenge you to pray that way. I challenge you to pray for God to come powerfully to our church and to our city, to touch the lives of the people in our community through us and say, "God, I'm not going to give up until it is done."

Coming home- ahh!!

Do you remember the times when you returned home to your loved ones waiting at the glass doors in the airport? Today’s worship felt exactly like that. The whole night was a beautifully sweet and tender experience. In fact it was like stepping into God’s arms and being in a godly embrace all night long.

The highlight of the night for me was when we sang “Let it rain” after kneeling. Nothing compares to being filled with the peace of the Holy Spirit. Stretching out my arms, I just felt this incredible sense of release. I felt free! Cleansed and renewed at the same time- it was wonderful.

I had a recurring vision of a baby being suspended above flames. Yet the baby was smiling despite its precarious situation. It was almost like it was unaware of the danger and enjoying the warmth (though extreme!) of the fire.

*Pardon the digression.. but he's just too cute!!*

The verse Romans 12:12 then came to mind.
“Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer”.

I believe we are each experiencing trials in our daily lives, be they big or small. However we are called upon to persist despite our sufferings, to summon joy from every circumstance. This goes against human comprehension and it is not hard to wonder why. This is so: just like how the baby was miraculously suspended from the tongues of fire, we are buffered by God’s grace against affliction. Note that I say ‘buffered’ and not ‘insured’. The difference is crucial. Accepting Christ does not mean an easy life ahead of us. In fact it could mean the very opposite. However because we have God in us we have that -extra- bit to see us through every testing and trial. We no longer have to walk alone because He walks beside us. He brings victory over our circumstances because it is what He promises to those who are faithful.

God, our only constant- He sees us through.

Lord, I thank you that your favour rests upon us
In you we need not run on empty
And our hope for you is firm
Because we know that
Just as you share in our sufferings
So also you share in our comfort.

BEHIND THE VEIL

WOW! What an exciting prayer meeting we had last week!

I really believe that God is wanting
SOFT HEARTS and HUNGRY HEARTS for His presence.

Last Wednesday the presence of God came down into the Chapel
in such an intense way & I just want to encourage you girls to
keep pressing into His presence.

Did any of you girls feel the same last Wednesday night?
IF SO.. SHARE IT ON THIS BLOG & encourage one another!

While we were worshipping and seeking God I felt the Holy Spirit prompt me to tell everyone to get on the knees if they were sincere about worshipping God with their WHOLE hearts & not just a % of effort ... as we did that, I felt there was an opening in the spiritual atmosphere - which ALWAYS happens when we ACTIVELY seek to humble ourselves before God (& a real practical way prescribed in the Bible is to kneel). We began to pray & had free worship & the atmosphere started to change. After the time of intercession over the prayer points that were on the screen, I felt an urgency to 'not miss out' on what God desired for NLCC that night & so I started to go through the songs I had chosen that night - that segment of songs was all about inviting the Holy Spirit ... with this urgency in my heart (because it was already 10 mins to 10pm at that stage!) - & then we got onto the song, "Let it Rain" ... as we kept singing the song, the presence of God started getting heavier and heavier in the room. I was prompted to tell everyone to link hands & continue singing & so everyone did. As we did, I suddenly saw a brilliant white light that was the hem of the Lord's garment above us near the ceiling of the Chapel - it was so intense & electric & a sudden fear of God gripped my heart. I started trembling & felt so overwhelmed by His intense presence. I stopped singing but everyone continued passionately & the more they sung the more the Lord descended .. closer and closer to us! It took my breath away & I was bowed over at His awesome presence. It was INCREDIBLE!

I share this to highlight the importance of prayer & worship and desperation for God. I was continually reminded of the woman who purposed in her heart.. "If I could just touch the hem of His garment I WILL BE MADE WHOLE" ... & as I saw the hem of His garment I was so aware that if the HEM of His garment exuded such awesome glory & power - how much more would we be transformed & electrified if we received His full EMBRACE!!!!!!!!!!

When was the last time you felt His manifest presence? All you need to have is a desperate & hungry heart - & you will attract the manifest presence of Creator God into your life. When this happens the bliss & ecstatic joy that follows causes EVERY sensation of this world to pale in significance. His presence is addictive! Such an experience brings an attraction to Him causes you to LONG for more.

Jesus has passed the baton to us! He wants to finish the ministry He began here on earth through us. There is much work to be done, and God wants us to be the hands and feet of Jesus to bring His truth, love and healing to the world.

Whether we are praying with a friend or a stranger, teaching someone about Jesus, or giving an encouraging word in line at the store, we are being the hands and feet of Jesus. Changing diapers and hugging a teenager are sharing the love of God. It’s fun to know that every time we extend love to someone, God is loving that person through us.

What assignment does God have for you today? Does He want you to bring some cookies to a neighbor? Or, hold a hurting child? Maybe He wants you to start a new ministry, and you are wondering if it’s really Him nudging you. Nothing is too big for God to do through us or too small to be insignificant.

We are to be the hands and feet of Jesus to a broken world
We are to rise up and BE the church, not just come to church

We are to be a generation of action

They put God in full force into their Churches by their praying! They did not vainly fancy that they had met their high and solemn duties by delivering faithfully God's word, but their ministry was made to stick and tell by the ardor and insistence of their praying. They sought God mightily day and night to bring their people to the highest regions of faith and holiness. They prayed mightier still to hold them to this high spiritual altitude.

I was nervous this morning when I got up...but as I do my devotion and pray....I feel the amazing calmness and peace in me....I know that God was with me...Thanks to God =P

Yay..I didnt have to stay up to study until very late last nite....and God gave me good concentration and strength...I was able to fully concentrate during the exam too =P Praise Him!!

Let's continue to TRUST in Him and see Him guiding and caring us through this time of exams! Pray! =P

God Disciplines his Children

HI THERE BEAUTIFUL CHILDREN OF GOD!!!!!!

how is it going ? I know a lot of you is studying hard, and going through all sorts of up's and downs! yea? I go through them too ^.^
Just last week, my heart just lost its warmth, and I had gone cold >.<>

Then the powerpuffs had a much needed prayer session, where we came before God. Raw, and just let ourselves be immersed in the Holy Spirit. It took a long time before our hearts were softened to hear from God. Through worship and praising the Lord, perserverance, faith..everything..then we heard from God.

Alison gave me a message from God, saying that it's time for me to stand up. Stop looking around for things that aren't there, if you purged your heart, then STAND UP, RISE UP. Use what you are given.

At the prayer meeting the night before, I was convicted of being lazy. Terribly lazy. In a vision of warning, A pair of hands wearing black gloves reached out to me, and I handed over a nice pretty purse. Then the hands opened it up, but it was empty. So it handed it back to me and turned away.

I was reminded of the parable in MATTHEW 25:14-30.
This really brought the fear of the Lord into my life. God gives you something, and what you do with that something determines how much more he will give you.

In this parable, a master gives one servant 5 bags of gold, one two bags of gold, and one one bag of gold. He then left.
The first man put the money to work and gained 5 more.
The second also gained two more.
But the man with the one bag went off, dug a hole in the ground and hid the master's money.

When the master returned, the first man produced 10 bags, and the master said" Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been fruitful with a FEW things, I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master's happiness!"
He said the same with the second servant.

However, the third servant was afraid to lose that one bag, and only produced what he was given.
The master replied, "You wicked, lazy servant! ...You should have at least put it into deposit, at least I would get the interest. Take the bag of gold from him and give it to the one who has ten bags.

For those who have will be given more, and they will have an abundance. As for those who do not have, even what they have will be taken from them. And throw that worthless servant outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth."

phew..the Lord is Holy, majestic and will not tolerate laziness. Please pray that I will continue to overcome laziness with the strength of Jesus. thank you ^^

That friday in life group, Jmom was praying for us...and she mentioned if your heart has become hard...^.^ just want to say thanks for confirming it..that my heart had indeed become hard, icy cold..but now, God has shattered it, and is stirrings fires within my heart to serve Him, and to RISE UP! Praise God!

I am sooo glad he showed me that, otherwise I may end up showing God an empty purse, which I really do not want to show.

Ah So sorry that this is becoming a long post..hehehe...was supposed to be short, but God wants me to type until I have shared all that I need to.

There's another thing God showed me today during devotion.

THAT WE ARE CHILDREN OF GOD!!!!!
YOU are a CHILD OF GOD. BORN AGAIN =D

yup! Galatians 3: 26-27 " So in CHRIST JESUS you are all children of GOD through faith, for all of you who were baptised into CHRIST have clothed yourselves with Christ."

yay ^^ However, you may be wondering, If we are children of God, why doesn't God protect us from all the evil in the world? why do bad things happen to us? why do we have to suffer, even after believing in God?

This question bugged me for a long time..but this morning, I finally understood -in Hebrews 12:
GOD DISCIPLINES HIS CHILDREN.
I'll type some of it out just in case if you don't have a bible near you ^.^

"It says:
My son( and daughter), do not make light of the Lord's discipline,
and do not lose heart when he rebukes you,
because the LORD disciplines those he LOVES,
and he chastens everyone he accepts as his child.
Endure HARDSHIPS as discipline; GOD is treating YOU as his CHILDREN.
For what children are not disciplined by their father?
If you are not disciplined - and everyone is disciplined- then you are not legitimate children at all.
Moreover, we have all had parents who disciplined us and we respected them for it. How much more should we submit to the Father of spirits and live!
.....God disciplines us for our GOOD, that we may share in his holiness.
NO discipline seems pleasant at the time but PAINFUL.
LATER ON, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.
THEREFORE, STRENGTHEN YOUR feeble arms and weak knees. "

Thank you Lord for you discipline us because you love us!!
He wants the best for us, and he won't take shortcuts.

I pray that we all can endure all sorts of hardships and DON'T TURN away from our Father, as you'll need to find out what He wants YOU to learn from that hardship!

Otherwise, you'll be suffering for NOTHING..and falling into the traps and deceptions of the devil.

Instead, FOCUS (as Lee ping sms'ed me the other day- thank you ^^) to follow God and have courage. Seek Him, and He will meet you.

We Are His Dwelling Place

Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone, in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.

The temple is now us. God's spirit is no longer contained in a building. Instead it lives in us - HIS BODY. The construction of this new temple began with Jesus. He is the very first piece of material that was inserted. From there, God is building His temple, His home out of each of us.

God is the MASTER MASON.

He has a knack for finding just the right stones to set next to each other so that their differences compliment each other. The pattern appears to us as random and chaotic. But, not to God. He chooses each stone for a specific reason and purpose. And, as you stand back and examine all of the stones ... it is beautiful ... it has strength ... it is a testament to the craftsmanship of the MASTER MASON.

We are God's dwelling place.

Our persons, our bodies, our spirits are home to God’s song. We may be ravaged by merciless trespass of disease, forsaken by friends, abandoned by family. But even then, the Lord is with us and we are His dwelling place. We may be hardened by failed relationships, shrunk down and shriveled up by wrong choices, made ugly by pain we inflict on ourselves, and on others. But even then, the Lord is with us and we are His dwelling place.

JESUS the MIRACLE MAKER

To all my beautiful sisters,

I am sure that we all had a wonderful worship and fellowship time at YAF tonight! It is really exciting to hear that 19 people are getting baptized this coming Sunday, including myself…and I am absolutely grateful to see that God is not only just moving in our midst, but He is at work transforming the each and one of us individually, and yet together as one (hehe…I hope that make sense)

Right now, I just want to share something with you all…I should really have shared it when Anne was asking if we had anything to share. Since now I know that the Holy Spirit is urging me to (my heart was beating really really fast the entire time...really unusual...and i was shaking so much without control during the closing prayer and I just felt the peace coming in as i pray to the Holy Spirit that i would share as i come home), so now I have this burning desire that I will type up this entry even though it’s like 01:18am right now!

It all began since last Friday, when Anne asked us to let go of something that is holding us back, and I knew in my heart that I was struggling with time and rest. (busy with studies, talking to people, housework…. ^^) So after hearing princess Mandy’s testimony about her 2500words essay, I learnt the importance of praising and worshipping God at ALL times! I went home that night, without doing anything at all, I kneeled down on the floor, and just kept praising the Lord in tongues, in prayer and in songs! I could start to feel His presence and that my heart was becoming more and more like a COMPLETE HEART OF WORSHIP! So, I have been praising the Lord, spending lots of time in prayers, praying in tongues when I was on my way to uni, in the kitchen cooking, doing laundry etc. Everyday was so sweet and I could feel that I was so protected in everything I do because I am hidden in Christ! I felt that I was walking into blessings in everything I do, e.g. understood the entire chemistry lecture that I used to fall asleep in sometimes…and cooked yummy food for the people in my house (hehe….my housemate joel actually said..’Christy..your cooking rocks!!’…I had the thought in my mind: ‘That’s because Jesus rocks my world!!’)

Then last night, I just spent some time listening to some sermons on the net and kept feeding God’s words into my heart, and shared a lot with my mom and she is so thankful for the total transformation that God has done on me. And then,

As you see the title: ‘Invest in God, the time is now’, it seems pretty straightforward and easy to understand, but it is not until you have made this decision, then you will be able to receive the rewards that are going to be many-folds in heaven, and on earth!
This was something that God spoke to me last night when I was brushing my teeth, and it just touched my heart so much that I just had to write it in my journal immediately! So, what I think He was trying to tell me was that, in today’s world, people are so attached to earthly matters, both Christians and non-Christians, on things such as investing time, money, affections etc. on certain things/people. However, there are risk managements involve in those issues, and there are never guarantees in receiving what you have hoped or estimated for. But, our God is an awesome, generous and kind, there is a GUARANTEE in investing in God and His kingdom! Be bold in investing to our heavenly father, let go of things that are precious to you, but is yet holding you back, for there is a 100% guarantee that He will be pleased with you and that all goodness shall follow you!

Anyway, I found that was really cool, because it all connects to what Anne has been sharing with us these two weeks, and God knows that I can be a slow learner sometimes…so He is just giving me extra tutorials…hehe =) I am so excited about everyday, knowing that He has so many things to share and to teach me through His words of wisdom!!!

Are We Living In Victory?

Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon that have I given you,as I said unto Moses.

Let's reflect on Moses' story: We know that God chose him to get the children of Israel out the the land of Egypt and then they went through the Wilderness. And we know that Moses was given the law and he disobeyed God so he could not go the land of victory. Moses dies and now we start a new conquest with a man by the name of Joshua, who leads the children of Israel into the promise land. Here, we can learn an important lesson: God gave them 300,000 square feet of land yet they only possessed about 30,000 square feet. How sad, that God had given them the land yet they did not believe God enough to take all God had given them. The enemies in these other parts have been a thorn in the side of Israel even to this day.

Now, let us take a look at our life today...

God has given us victory through Son Jesus Christ, yet many Christians only get about a tenth of the Spirtual Blessings God has for them. God has given us victory over sin, and all we have to do is believe by faith and allow the Holy Spirit to take those area's that we struggle in out of our lives by faith. The devil has done a good job of keeping God's people in bondage thinking that they have no victory over sin in every area of their life. We wonder why there is not power of God in our lives and that is because we do not live our under the blood of Jesus. We have victory over flesh and self. God's people live most of their lives directed by the old man. We give into the old man that should be dead. We must kill the old self everyday. For without the death of the old man, we will continue to not have the filling of the Holy Spirit that we must have to live a life of Victory. The Victory is there, we just have to submit and take what God has already given us.

So, I have one question to ask you as I ask myself...

Are we resting in the Victory that God has already given us or are we still trying to live this life on our own?

Don't take SHORTCUTS

OK, if you saw my earlier very short message..I deleted what I wrote before, because it didn't really make sense xD

So here we go again! =D Today, God revealed to me that I shouldn't take shortcuts. So I just want everyone to know, DON'T TAKE SHORTCUTS!!
FOLLOW GOD's PATH. Do not detour off, or try to find a different path, because only one path leads to God.

What I mean by taking "shortcuts" for me was trying to draw close to God without sacrificing any of my time, and doing it half-heartedly.

For example, last week on Thursday I woke up late, so had about 20 minutes to get to the bus stop. So I asked God, if I read one verse, is that okay? You'll bless me right!So I opened my bible, read a verse, praised God, and said thank you!

Then proceeded to pack my bag...spent ages trying to find my jacket..then find some food...and by the time I was out the door, I couldn't even remember what I had just read >.< Consequently, my day was extremely exhausting...I fell asleep during lecture, couldn't understand the concepts from the lecture, and then going home, didn't manage to study at all! Had HEAPS of distractions ie: setting up a new computer...doing chores.. THEN.. on friday, I did exactly the same thing???!!

I didn't realise that NOT putting God first would have such a big impact.Even though I prayed later on, I still felt far away from God. By night time..I hadn't done any homework....same with saturday- our phone line and internet became broken.....then sunday......i barely just finished and finalised my chinese oral.

It wasn't until MONdAY morning...I kept waking up, and praying quick short prayers and then drifting off to sleep...and decided to sleep longer, so would not have to rush so much. Then going in and out of sleep, at 10am, I sat up. like *DING*. I know whats wrong. My heart isn't right for God. My hearts been clouded by stress...unknowingly, I was thinking I had to handle all the problems by MYSELF, by my own strength. But that's just putting things back into my control.

SO NO, I will leave all my baggage at the CROSS~!!! I took time, and just forgot about my oral that day- lifted it up to God..and just spent time with God. After that, I was energized! My mum woke up too..and she made me eat a bao- which made me full ^^ so now full spiritually and physically!!

Then went to uni...and then got a msg from amanda to go for lunch with her n a few brothers. One had a friend, and he helped me with my oral!!! I didn't even have to go looking for someone, God just provides ^.^ Praise God =D

THEN, when I got to class, I had an immense peace...like, I was constantly talking to God whilst listening to other people's orals. I kept thanking Him for giving me peace, whilst some other people were getting really worried..but I just knew that my confidence was in God, and having FAITH IS being VICTORIOUS!

Whatever happens, my future is secured =D There is really nothing to fear in this world. A moment is only a moment, and it is temporary, so LIVE FOR THE ETERNAL- where eternity we cannot even grasp in our understanding ^^

When I was coming home, was SOOOO HAPPY..even though I haven't found out my marks, I don't dwell upon it! It's in God's hands now. I've done my best =D

Back to what I mean about short cut....when I got home, my mum told me to throw away this box for museli bars, which had other bits of paper like receipts and wrappers.

I was at the doorway, took a step out, and saw the recycling box about 5 metres away. I thought I'd save time, and thought my skills could throw this box into that box...seemed so easy! SO I threw it...and then it missed, and the papers inside fell out everywhere. I had to then put on shoes, and go out and pick up everything.

As I was picking up the bits and pieces, God just revealed to me- Don't Take Shortcuts. If you take shortcuts to draw close to God and try to get blessings...you might just miss out on what you need. You would not receive in full.

I just remembered that a word from God WILL be in the bible! So, I googled just in case it wasn't...because sometimes I confuse myself with my own voice and God's voice. But this was really quite convicting, so I looked it up to give you all references!

Provers 21:5 "Good planning and hard work lead to prosperity, but hasty SHORTCUTS lead to poverty" (NLT) - I had poverty in the blessings of the Lord >.<

Romans 12:11 "Work hard and do not be lazy. Serve the Lord with a heart FULL of DEVOTION" (Good news)

WOO..!! its there! SO WORD HARD YOU ALL!!!! Don't be lazy thinking that I don't need to study hard because God will take care...God will only take care of you when you SERVE the Lord with a heart FULL OF DEVOTION.

Not a lazy heart! ALRIGHt! FIGHT ON WARRIORS!!!!! and DON'T TAKE SHORTCUTS. YOU NEED ALL THE WEAPONS OF THE WORD IN YOUR HEART =D
I was led to read 1 Timothy 1:18....."Use those words as weapons in order to fight well.."
The WORD is powerful and WILL defeat the devil.

The Power of Prayer and Worship

God has been soo good to me this week!!

A formula that I would recommend:

WORSHIP + PRAYER = SUCCESS

There are two parts to my testimony... Girls in Anne's group would have heard the first, but I'll type it anyways for everyone else~

On the Tuesday that was just past, I had a 2500 word politics essay which contributes 40% to my final grade for that subject. Originally I thought the word count was 2500, which means I can write 2500 with a 10% leeway top and bottom without getting marks deducted. I wasn't confident in writing 2500 so I thought I'd get away with writing 2250. But on Monday afternoon, I randomly looked in the course outline and found out that the word limit was actually 2500 - 3000!! Which means I have to least have 2500 words! >__<" About 8.30pm I got desperate and panicky so I sms-ed some of the girls and msn-ed a few more to ask for urgent prayer! Anne replied suggesting that I should stop for a while to worship the Lord and ideas will flow afterwards. So I took that advice... Worship went longer than I expected but as soon as I got back to doing my essay, I just kept writing! xD I managed to finish at 11pm! So not even mid-night yet!! Praise God! Worship is GOOOOOOOD~~~

This is the new part... The continuation of what God has blessed me with!

I checked MyUni yesterday (Saturday) night... Adelaide Uni students would know what MyUni is; basically its a web where we get resources from our lecturers and sometimes we get our marks eletronically there... My friend had told me that he got his result for that essay 2 days after it was due. Was surprised that the lecturer was so quick with marking! He uploads the mark online when he's marked a few paper I think... So I didn't get the mark til yesterday... When I clicked on the link that had my subject name on it, I was stunned for a second... I got 85% which is a High Distinction!!! xD PRAISE GOD!!!! Not only did He bless me with ideas to top up my word count, but He also gave me QUALITY ideas!!! I've never got a mark as high as that for an essay!! And this essay was quite heavily weighted too!! If it wasn't for God, I would not have gotten that mark!! God is sooo good to us!!! He only gives us the BEST!! xD Just want to say a BIG THANKS to all the brothers and sisters who prayed for me!! Wouldn't have made it without you peeps!! =)

So what did I learn from that experience? Stop and take time to worship the Lord. God dwells in the praises of His people (Psalm 22:3) so after I worshiped, divine ideas came because God was with me!!

God said, as recorded in John 14:13 "And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father." (NIV) When we pray, God ANSWERS! Sometimes God doesn't answer us immediately because His timing is diff from ours. His timing is the best tho~

The Bible also says in Matthew 18:20, "For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them." (NIV) The prayer was power when I prayed in Jesus' Name but it was even more POWERFUL when I asked my brothers/sisters to join in prayer for me~~

So when that are things that you need prayers for, we're always there for you!! We have been told to "carry each other's burdens" so don't hesitate to ask and share your burdens with us!! [I guess this is more for the new-ies and a reminder for the rest of us...]

So, you want SUCCESS?? Do it the Godly way!! xD

Hi girls! Women of God! Or as Jane might put it... WARRIOR’s of God’s army – I salute you (ok perhaps that part I added in myself) either way... HI!

You might be surprised with my title... read on so you can understand why I say --> Be distracted!

Friday night at Yaf... I’m sure many people were touched by what Anne said... About LETTING GO... God wants to us to LET GO of ALL our baggage – only when we let go, and surrender ALL of ourselves --> God can take care of ALL of us... and the truth is God knows best... He can take care of us... way better and knows how to, then we ourselves can even comprehend.

I think most of us can say the last 20 mins of Yaf was most memorable... well for me it was...

In the last 20 mins or so we did a sharing time. Anne posed a question “What do you need to let go of?” and this is where many people open their hearts and tears were rolling off cheeks.

Its then I realised that all of us have our own ‘test’ to run through and conquer... Everyone’s situation is different and every hurt and pain that people go through is different and unique.

Pain- some pains and hurts we go through are so... very... painful (der!- can’t think of another word) ...though some pains maybe more excruciating then others... but nonetheless – it is still pain. I remember one time sharing this to a friend... who was hurting a lot from a broken relationship... I couldn't fully comprehend the pain she was going through but in some way or another I could relate...

Pain comes from all sorts of places, physically - like having a paper cut, falling down a flight of stairs, walking into a pole) I’m sure you can think of more physical pains ( yes the ones I listed I have experienced before.. and if someone knows the pain of walking into a pole can understand how painful that is >.<)

But I'm sure most of you will agree - the EMOTIONAL pain outweighs all... so the pain that sister was going through- was excruciating. The feeling of pain from the heart... CAINS! At least a paper cut you can put a band-aid on... but the heart... No band-aid could cover that wound cos it’s inside and bleeds from so many angles.

How to remove this pain? One may ask. The funny thing is I’m learning about Pain in uni... there are many theories about “pain” and one is the Gate-control theory (by Melzack and Wall 1965) This theory explains why sometimes you have pain but you don’t feel it. Ever had that?... you have this blasting headache... but then when you’re doing something the pain’s not there – or is it? This theory explains that when your mind is set to do something, the pain is ‘distracted’ and your focus is shifted off the pain and onto that something else. Many war victims have been shot or inflicted a wound that is critical and much pain should be felt... but at that time they didn't feel it- till they reach the hospital!

I’m sure most of you can relate... cos even in the world today... to heal pain is to be distracted- to not think about it is like to make it non existence... to not think about it- is forgetting about it... and once you forget about it... it’s not there – therefore no pain... Many people find 'distractions' like going out with friends, work insane hours, play games, watch TV, drugs, alcohol or even study... but they are only temporary, your mind may be off when doing those activities, but after you finished- the pain, hurts, thoughts and memories come crawling back up...

However I must say- being distracted is a good form of overcoming pain- I agree... but is there one that is long lasting? Never stops? ...And the answer is YES... why be distracted by temporary things (the things of the world)... GOD IS EVERLASTING... be distracted by HIS LOVE, HIS GRACE, HIS MERCY, HIS POWER, HIS PRESENCE, HIS JOY, HIS PEACE... the list goes on and on~ so when hurt comes just shift your focus to God.. magnify him and your problems will be small... if you magnify the problem... its HUGE lol... the solution/antidote/(however you want to phrase it) is here... it’s always here and it’s called JESUS when I said there is no band-aid big enough to cover the wounds of the heart – I was wrong- actually there is one... just one... ONE BANDAID CAN! And it is FREE, BIG, STRONG, and WORKS on ALL wounds! Yes that’s right girls the bandaid is called JESUS.

Only Jesus is your antidote to a broken heart. Only the cracks of the heart can be reached and filled by His love. Like I said Distractions can be found nearly everywhere really- but all are temporary... being distracted is a good form of healing pain... so how much more is it better to be distracted by God =] so BE DISTRACTED BY GOD- EVERLASTING!

FOCUS on him - the road to life, and the things of this world will fall into place.

SEEK him and experience the feeling of a healed heart. You’ll receive a peace... not just any peace but a peace that surpasses understanding- you’ll be like ‘hey I use to be like sad... when I think of or do (*fill the blank*)... but now I’m not- I feel happy/content/peaceful/satisfied”

COMMIT to Him. To be distracted is to commit... to hand over.. and not to deal with it by yourself... (Hence getting your mind off it=Distraction) ...to commit is giving it all to Him.

Psalm 37:5 [KJV] Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass

Proverbs 16:3 [KJV] Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established.

I'm sure you would have been welcomed by Su's group but just reiterating! xD

Worship was REALLY REALLY GOOD tonight!!!!! God's presence was soo strong I didn't even know time went so quickly! When Sam was wrapping up worship, I just wanted to stay there.. Hehe.. But I know that God's presence doesn't leave us (even when I've gone home from YAF)!!!

The key of tonight's message, LET GO COMPLETELY!

Leave your baggage at the Cross!! -- I hope everyone has done that tonight! Walking out of the chapel with your baggage surrendered to Jesus!!

That really spoke to me tonight... As I was doing devotion this morning (Friday) God lead me to read Galatians 5:7 that says "You ran well. Who hindered you from obeying the truth?" Got scared when I read that.. Because I didn't know whether there was something that was hindering me that I don't know about.. I didn't know whether that was referring to something that is current or whether its a warning.. Either way, I left my baggage at the Cross!! I'm FREE~~~

Let this week be a RECEIVING week~ Hehe~

I found a beatiful house with the bless of God

I decided to move out and found one near the church in Monday evening. I searched all the database and found some information which were not so satisfactory. So I began to pray. Let Lord bless me to find a good house near the church. In Tuesday morning, I began to make some phone calls. And nealy all of the house didn't suits me. Then someone in the accommodation service gave me a newspaper, let me try the house in the newspaper. Because I used to looking in a newspaper, the house in it usually is unfurnitured. And suddenly I saw one in Norwood, so I made a phone call and went to see the house. It is a really lovely house near Parade and Portrush, about 4 min drive to church. The rental is only 125 including all expense. One of my friend is also looking for a room. She has already spent about 2 weeks but find nothing. It just took me a morning to find such a good house. I know it is the power of God. Praise God.

I was very excited in Wed and planned to post the experience on the blog. But it was just in Wed afternoon I received my assignment in commercial law. I did a bad job. Only get 9 points out of 20. So I began to be worried and upset. And also I got presentation in Thursday. 2 big assignment due next week. I feel it is mess. I don't even have time to read Bible. But I realized it is devil wanna pull you back. So I began to read Bible today, put God first, let all the assignment wait. I read the story of sow in Matthew 13, 20-22,Jesus said 'The one who received the seed that fell on rocky places is the man who hears the word and at once receives it with joy. But since he has no root, he lasts only a short time. When trouble or persecution comes because of the word, he quickly falls away. The one who received the seed that feel among the thorns is the man who hears the word, but the worries of this life and the deceitfulness of wealth choke it, make it unfruitful'. I clearly realized that after I became christian, I always told myself God is real, I felt the power so it is not a thing with shor time. But I fell it is like a lot of people are the seeds in the thorns. Sometimes the worries of life and deceitfulness of wealth make us too busy to talk to God, which we don't even realize it. Like I am always worry about my exam and assignment in the end of semester. And some friends of mine always tell me that they can not come to church because they are too busy. Like they are the seeds but fell among the thorns which make them unfruiful.

HELOOOOOOOOOOOO SHINY PRINCESS WARRIORS!!!

How is everyone's week going?? If you don't have time to BLOG....SHOUT OUT (over there <<<<<) just to make your presence known!! =D hehehe Well, back to about purging, amanda and i have finally purgeeedd out the badminton competitions. God is priority, and it was causing us to miss out on too much. I feel much more at peace knowing that I'm putting God first, and not having to rush rush rush on wednesday.

Obeying God doesn't mean going to church...praying..doing devotion, but it means to obey WILLINGLY WHOLE-HEARTEDLY. Nothing you do for the Lord should be done "half-heartedly".

If God has put into YOUR heart to serve on the cooking ministry, ushering ministry, children's church ministry, transport ministry~ DO IT WHOLE-HEARTEDLY FOR GOD!

He will bless you MANY times in fold for what YOU HAVE SOWED! If you have a prompting from the Holy Spirit to serve into a ministry, take ACTION and go for it!!! God wants to bless you for it!

Whatever you SOW, you will REAP. Galatians 6:7 This applies to ALL things, anything you sow, you will reap. All sorts of seeds grow, not only good plants but bad plants too. Flowers grow, but also weeds.beautiful blue orchids....hehehe if u happened to sow blue orchid seeds..weeds...that the flowers amongst the weeds are suffocated. If we sow a good seed, sometimes we can't see it grow because of the weeds that we had sowed. We MUST pick out and get rid of all the weeds, so that we can see the flowers grow.

Yup, watch what you say, do, as the power of life and death lie in the TONGUE.

also! During devotion two days ago, the song "Amazing Love" just came into my head, and the chorus has been stuck in my head.

"..Amazing love, how can it be
that you my king would die for me
Amazing love, I know it’s true
It’s my joy to honor you"

And only until today, I dwelled upon the lyrics, and God revealed that a King so LOVING, so truly devoted to His people, would actually die for them.
The Holy Spirit led me to envision a King leading his army out ....and showed me
only a King that truly loves his people is willing to sacrifice his LIFE for his people
:
-block the arrows of pain from hitting you
-shelter your heart from the devils attacks
-uses his body to take your bullet..

IMAGINE YOUR FATHER or MOTHER. Someones about to shoot you because you did something wrong, and you deserve to die because you broke the law.
Then as the bullet flies out, your father/mother jumps out in front of you and takes the bullet.
That is how amazing His love is.

only a King so loving, so kind, so merciful....so filed with compassion would die for us. His love is SO AMAZING. SO amazing that He would send his ONLY son...to die for us humans...and how AMAZING JESUS's love for us...to go through all that pain for US..even though many times we rejected him.

So, if anytime you are feeling sad, pressured, lonely, rejected, stressed, bitter, angry.....think about Jesus and our LORD Heavenly Father, and what AMAZING LOVE they have for YOU. yes YOU.
AND Jesus died so you don't have to feel that way anymore!!
LOVE CONQUERS ALL!
You can live VICTORIOUSLY, as he stood in the gap between life and death, so that we can have LIFE.

Let's share this love! Can't keep all good things to yourself! =P
There's so many people out there that don't know this love, and you don't want them to miss out!!!

TIME IS OF ESSENCE

TO ALL PRINCESSES OF GOD ALMIGHTY

This is my first post... and I am prompted by the Holy Spirit to write about my testimony

...especially about my visions I shared on Sunday… it’s been on my heart and mind, and it is constantly convicting me. I am certain that God is not only talking to me… but to you urge you also. TIME is of Essence! We need to run the race FAST!!!

In the midst of praying on that Wednesday night– I suddenly saw darkness… absolute PTICH BLACK (I even had to open my eyes) then once I closed them - it was pitch black again. At this time... I saw my friend ( who has been on my heart for some time now) I saw her faintly as she was far away in the darkness… then I saw her hand reaching out to mine – I reached out… but our hands slipped .. And she went deeper into the darkness…. At this point, I was screaming out to God “NO NO NO!!!... One more chance... ONE more opportunity!!”... Then I heard a voice “I have …. But you missed it” … at that point there was nothing for me to do… I broke down into tears…I looked at my hands and the feeling of her hand slipping away from me was still there…I felt sick to my stomach…

Further into the prayer time… Anne had a vision for me….she said I was standing at the bottom of an Hourglass… and sand particles where falling…. And I was frantically running around the place… cos each sand particle that fell …was a soul. I was trying to collect the sand particles and to push them back up… but I couldn’t. It was at this point I started hearing screams of family and friends unsaved… calling out my name

...these visions showed to me that TIME IS OF ESSENCE… we are running out of time… SAVING SOULS is what we need to do… we are all called to do this…. And it made me realize this URGENCY... that if we miss the opportunity… or more like letting the opportunity slip by... There is no turning back…. Do not waste a day… I do not want to hear my family and friends screaming at me, and I am sure you do not want that either. I just want to say ….there are souls that only YOU can save... only YOU can REACH OUT to… and it is up to YOU to TAKE UP the opportunity… to SEIZE every opportunity... And use it.

So to end… a few basic questions and answers

HOW? By PRAYER (Pray for a heart of compassion DAILY, so you can be MOVED), FAITH, ACTION (yes just DO IT- speak, send an email/sms, call them do whatever you need to contact them) Don’t worry! Fear stops us from doing things

So have faith, be bold… even if it may be hard sometimes… GOD is with us – nothing can be against us ^_^
